Two days later.
I was now in my new home.
Though I was holding back because other people were around, my mood was at its peak right now. I was so happy I wanted to hum some unknown trot[1] melody through my nose.
“Hmm~ hmhm~”
Actually, those humming sounds were coming from the moving company aunties.
“Young man~ where should I put this chair~?”
“Th-that one goes in the small room over there…”
“Young man~ what about these plates?”
“Those… go in the upper cabinet above the sink…”
As long as I properly answered the aunties’ barrage of questions, these veteran workers were moving the belongings in no time.
They were so strong that even while moving heavy items, the pitch of their humming never wavered.
At this rate, they could become middle-aged idols… maybe?
While I was spacing out having such stupid thoughts, a young woman walked out of the small room.
“We’ve finished installing your soundproof booth. If you have any issues or questions later, please contact us here.”
She even kindly gave me her business card.
<Soundproof Booth Installer: Choi Ye-hyun>
Now the soundproof booth installation was really complete. As for the computer, I moved it myself and connected everything right after arriving. I couldn’t trust the moving company with my computer, which was item #1 on my assets list.
I took photos of this moving scene.
Not really to keep as memories, but to post on my board.
Can’t miss a chance for free house bragging.

[NEW HOUSE]
This is the house I moved into thanks to everyone’s love and my innate broadcasting talent.
I was planning to post photos after finishing the move, but I’m bored and curious about the reactions, so posting early.
[Comments]
– Such a humble person living in such a precious place… I feel sorry for the house…
– I have one question.
ㄴ Yes, ‘ques tion’ is indeed one word ^^[2]
ㄴ Ban her lol
– The living room looks like it’ll be pretty empty, Daeju want to start collecting figures too?

They’re not giving any compliments.
Looking at the moving progress with a slightly sullen face, I saw that most items were already being organized.
What would have taken me days if I did it alone was nearly finished in about 3 hours when left to the veterans.
After some final conversations with the moving company aunties, I was alone in this big house for the first time.
“Wow… is this really my house?”
Well technically it’s a monthly rental so it’s not my house.
Still, I was happy.
I ran to the master bedroom and jumped lightly onto the bed.
It was the same bed I always used, but it felt about 0.2 times more comfortable and fluffy than usual.
“Hehe…”
An unpleasant laugh I didn’t recognize came out of me.
Getting up from the bed again, I went into the soundproof booth I was curious about. From the outside it looked like just a container, so I was skeptical if it actually had any soundproofing effect. So I turned on the computer, played the loudest song I knew at high volume, closed the door and listened from in front of the booth
Doom… doom…
Except for the vibrating bass drum sounds, only negligible noise could be heard.
Even these drum sounds were only audible right in front of the booth – the floors above and below wouldn’t hear anything at all.
“Wow… I really feel like a broadcaster now.”
A soundproof booth is a must-have for someone who broadcasts as their main job.
I didn’t realize I had such a perception until seeing the soundproof booth made me think that.
The inside of the booth was quite spacious.
Even with the computer and air conditioner, there was room for one or two more storage cabinets. Since we filled an entire room with the soundproof booth, it made sense it would be this size.
I turned on the broadcast and deliberately greeted loudly to show off the soundproof booth.
“Ah! Nice to meet you!”
[Holy shit what the fuck]
[I almost became Beethoven you fu*king b*tch.]
[Wanna fight IRL?]
[Looks like you got a soundproof booth lol]
[Oh]
“Yes, I moved, and I’ll do the promised jjajangmyeon mukbang”
Since I ordered food and had moved, I ordered from the highest-rated place among the many restaurants.
Due to the minimum order amount, I ordered a set including sweet and sour pork even though I wasn’t that hungry.
If there are leftovers I can eat them tomorrow.
[Turn on cam first lol]
[Let’s see inside the soundproof booth]
[Now that you have a soundproof booth and moved, you’ll stream 15 hours a day right?]
[Gotta make money lol let’s go no sleep stream]
I had prepared the camera too.
At an angle where my face wouldn’t show, it was actually similar to the hand cam angle that some skilled gaming streamers use. Though it was tilted slightly higher so the soundproof booth walls were visible, my hands were in the center of the cam so it could count as a hand cam right?
Sadly, this was the first time setting it up since no one had ever requested a hand cam from me.
If I had talent for gaming, would I have more viewers now?
It was an impossible fantasy, but that’s what fantasies are for.
[Just looking at those hands I can tell you’re bad at games]
[Fuck lol we got a hand reader here oh but I know palm reading and those are short life lines RIP]
[That’s harsh but the background looks empty]
[Get a green screen and set it up]
“Green screen?”
I’ve heard of that somewhere before.
Since it wasn’t clear in my head I searched it up and finally understood what it was.
It was that green background used for screen compositing or removing backgrounds.
Seems it works on the same principle as the green screens used for CGI in movies. Though I didn’t really feel the need since cam broadcasts weren’t my main thing.
But it seemed like it could be nice to have.
Could probably get at least 3-4 pieces of content out of it right?
“What kind of things can you do with a green screen?”
[Weather forecast?]
[Movie filming?]
[First face reveal?]
[Elden Ring?]
[Nothing really worth doing]
Seems the viewers also couldn’t think of many content ideas off the top of their heads.
“Now that I have a soundproof booth, what games should I play? I’ll probably do VR tomorrow”
The jjajangmyeon’s arrival time was roughly an hour later.
I decided to get recommendations for some light games to play in the meantime.
Preferably games that could be played now that I had a soundproof booth.
[Since you have cam on, how about Just Dance?]
[Oh lol]
[Isn’t that dancing? Why would we watch that shit? F*ck that let’s play Heroes of the Storm]
[The only options are Just Dance and HotS? Just kill me now]
[Drop your location]
[Save me]
Just Dance?
I didn’t particularly like dancing, and I wasn’t even good at it, but somehow I saw the angle.
The YouTube angle.
While my live stream viewers mostly didn’t mindlessly praise me and just said whatever they wanted, YouTube’s atmosphere had gradually changed as it grew, and now there was a trend of excessively praising and hyping me up. Wouldn’t a video of me dancing be delicious content for them?
Plus it was a game that could only be done with a soundproof booth.
Should this even be called a game?
“…Should I do it?”
[This guy lol must have spent a lot moving]
[For real, normally he’d be like ‘I won’t do it’ lol]
[Been checking stuff out since spending on moving and soundproof booth lol f*ck it~ might as well sell your body to me~]
ㄴ [Has been forcibly removed]
[Don’t you need equipment for Just Dance? Like Nintendo or PS?]
[There’s a phone version]
Looking it up after seeing the chat, there really was a version that connected with phones.
Seems like it’s a monthly subscription service, but if the response is good today I’ll probably end up doing more just to get my money’s worth.
While thinking about how to position everything for the broadcast, I grabbed a mask since I felt too anxious no matter how I thought about it.
Dancing with a mask would be really stuffy and hot, but it seemed better than showing my face.
“…heh…hehehe”
After raising the cam position a bit and getting into position in front of it, I started laughing for some reason.
It was funny that I was doing this, funny how my personality had changed to casually decide to dance, and honestly even my appearance on cam was funny.
[This guy’s laughing?]
[Yeah why’s he laughing]
[lol he’s laughing so weirdly it’s funny lol]
[Think he’s having regrets lol]
Looking at the Just Dance screen, there were various songs.
Since I listen to songs quite often normally, I recognized many songs even though they were mostly foreign ones.
[F*ck lol I don’t even watch male streamers dance cause it’s gross but I’m about to watch a durahan streamer dance]
[Actually better lol, watching bad dancing is more fun]
[He could be good why assume lol]
[You really think that?]
[Nah I think he’ll suck]
The comments about being bad at dancing didn’t bother me at all.
While I’d foam at the mouth arguing when told I’m bad at games, with dancing I could proudly nod and agree that I probably won’t be good.
But you never know right?
Maybe my hidden dancer instincts will awaken?
“What should the first song be?”
[If you’re Korean let’s do Gangnam Style]
[Wrong]
[Wow even Gangnam Style is wrong? F*ck…]
[Let’s do Rasputin]
[ssia][3]
[Came here after hearing rumors~]
While getting recommendations for the first song, changing the tag to Just Dance brought many people flooding in with interest.
Like, a lot of people
“Wait what’s going on, did someone end their stream?”
[Do Zero Two please]
[Do a s*xy dance please]
[What the f*ck are these bastards]
[Get out you f*ckers streamer do something kick them!]
[If the streamer’s gonna kick anyone it’d probably be us first… anyway who are those bi*ches…]
